Due out in June, the "Twister" EP (get it - "Twister"?) will feature remixes from some of Leigh's circle of international dub compatriots... as well as a rumored appearance by a mysterious "Dr. Marble".

Remix Madness
Leigh Marble's side career as a remixer has begun to gather steam. The first official release of one of his remixes is out now as a track on "N.I.C. In Dub", a compilation of dub remixes of the Oslo band Necessary Intergalactic Cooperation. Credited as Dr. Marble on the record, Leigh shapes a funk jam into an Eno-esque instrumental titled "This Love We Had Dub", transforming a single, off-the-cuff vocal muttering into a haunting hook. "N.I.C. In Dub" was released on the French label Hammerbass; plans for a domestic release are in the works.
Closer to home, Leigh's recent remix of a Pay The Coyote song received a great writeup on Localcut.com. The song, "Take Me Over Tonight", caught Leigh's ear off the band's Myspace page, and lucky for him, the band was game for a remix. Localcut had this to say about the track:
Marble has remixed Pay The Coyote’s stark, Churchian ballad towards a fully-realized (in the barren, hollow sense) frigid dystopia and lulling disquietude — winds gust, icicles chime, drummer boys brave notice, vocalist Whitney Walker’s authoritative, Ian Curtis-nudging fragility trudges through a paean to submission desperate and weary but not without hope.
Visit the Pay the Coyote page to hear the remix and read the full press coverage.
